i wish they were a little closer. but for me its all about lineup. the last one was decent (forget who was there) but it really wasnt worth the 4 hour drive imo. im just so picky about lineups. im there for the music, not the event. but it does look like a really cool event, i just gotta like whos there
i dont make nyc trips that often. last 2 times was Tipper at best buy and bassnectar at MSG. shit i absolutely cannot miss

There was one with Globukar I really wanted to get to, but something came up. I need to check the upcoming lineups. Also, I've been real into Shaman's Dream as of late, and he's throwing a sacred dance festival/workshop thing in Hawaii in December. I'm really considering going to that, though I don't know of anyone else that would go.

There's nothing wrong with edc if you like that music. Electronic isn't my main genre of music but they actually are playing a lot of hard dubstep which I like every once in a while.
It seems like a lot of people here are bashing it because it's so popular and want to sound cool. If you don't like the music then just say that. It's a huge party in Vegas how is that not fun?

It's not fun cuz the party stops when the sun comes up. And the 6 hours in traffic a day kinda blow on top of that.

dude it has nothing to do with being cool. edc is fucking kid shit. its litered with kids who are there for all the wrong reasons and all they wanna hear is generic bullshit. edc is straight up just a really shitty festival
like dude i fucking LOVE electronic music, but edc is just a horrible place to be at and spend money at. their lineups suck and that attracts shitty people. people dont go to edc cuz the music, people go to edc cuz its pooular and they heard its awesome. its not tho
edc is a great festival if youre 18 and know nothing about this scene and dont really care either. Integrity is one word you cannot associate with this festival. theres literally none of that going on

Nah the door reason is 100% legit the dark room becomes so well lit it sucks. Security was hella tight the times I went. Crowd was great but idk deff not my venue

No I don't think you're getting this. The security when I went was STUPID TIGHT. Where the stage is it lights the whole thing up, I am just not a fan. Westbury is great though.

ive been at festivals that make you take your fuckin shoes off, and even my socks once
like idk, getting past any security isnt hard. ive been thru some really tight searches and legit never been caught once
if a security guard ever touches my balls im gonna cause a scene
