The peat moss is fine, can you show a list of the ingredients in the lime? Ive had labeling that said "gardeners lime" and is meant to raise the PH in the long term, we need the sort that does it quickly

lime and peat are not what I would spawn a cake to. you'd be better off using potting soil. peat is usually a casing and lime is to buffer the pH up. you could spawn cakes to coir and verm. a lot of people consider sphagnum peat to be non nutritive to cubensis, but I'm sure they eat some of it. it's not a traditional substrate material though.

Ok here are the nutes for the garden lime. Also, what would be the best method to make a substrate with brf cakes? I've done hours of research. I'm a little confused but know the info if someone could point me to a link for the tek.

Or just do them as cakes?

Nobody spawns to peat moss......it's good for casing layers, not bulk substrates....the lime as well.....
Get some coir and vermiculite......or horse manure and verm......or straw.......

Ok I understand. Thank you.
Quick question. Why can't you spawn to verm and brf just like in the jars? Just curious?

Because sterilized or pasteurized BRF will contaminate when exposed to open air, manure/coir/verm/straw will not if properly pasteurized.
