Do you consider yourself to be a flexible person, when it comes to how you live and experience your life?

Oh yeah. I'm a dad and a sweetheart, a dork really, with my family. Then when there is danger afoot.. I get all tactical and evil. That probably wasn't what you meant though.

Yes, more than the average person, but not enough. It's something I've been working on a lot recently and I have a long way to go.

I think an important form of flexibility for anyone is not to be bothered when one is wrong. Keeping an open mind in this respect is the only way one ever really learns anything. So often, people are so put off by being wrong that they shut down, and cannot make any meaningful progress.

I'm so fucking flexible I can bend spacetime around in a hypersphere and collapse it to a single point...

My experience is sort of like that. . If you start to see infinite space; a closed mind would reject it, an open mind could accept it. . there are endless new horizons, so static descriptions of reality don't jive with a continually transforming reality, which it is.
Jazz can be lovely.

I would say I have an open mind. I like my space and alone time. Usually interacting with people is some varying degree of 'termed' psychotic experience. I'm in three worlds at once. Hearing people voices and the voices of disembodied consciousness from above and below. Its difficult.
I don't like to be confined or defined. I'm claustrophobic.
I have a difficult time with motivation and inspiration but I would say that I'm somewhat flexible.

How can the finite comprehend the infinite? I doubt any finite system of energy truly perceives anything beyond the mind's best ability to represent infinity. True infinity is a concept that seems outside of grasp, however much it can be felt.
Jazz can be very lovely.

Each expression of experience is unique. . .
Who says that we are finite? Glimpses of infinity come now and then; as i say, i feel it is akin to what robogenesis mentioned.
all ancient cultures actually, have it that all life is one, in reality, one culture, one people, one world, one roots, one life; in other words, the world is unified, and we're one with the universe. surely you've come across this; in essence, non-duality. whether the universe is truly infinite is another question; yet if it is not, it is so vast and boundless to appear so, and for all intents and purposes, it seems to make sense to say it is infinite.

Defined. Hmm. How about just being a figure of speech meaning... 'open to new ideas when they seem to make sense to me.'

Very good.

Also, ideas probably only have much value insofar as they do good in the world, to summarize William James sort of.
Non-duality doesn't help if it doesn't shift the heart, change actions so that Mother Earth is seen as the source, and that action for her benefit is good, while the opposite is not.
