Everything has gotten more expensive the past 5 years while income has stayed the same.
It is a good thing I live in fruit country, that stuff is still dirt cheap where I live. For one euro you get 1,5 kilo (good) appels!

It gets even cheaper when you steal from all the orchards around here... nobody watches those things at night...

I don't know what's going on in alberta but they have been struggling with everything they specialized in. Kill more cows and flood the market the way you always did! We liked it that way

, Ahhh, maan. Keep that for keeping the 'lights on'.
You may have an orchard one day. I bet if you asked they'd give you an apple

It's doing perfectly. I would prefer 75 cents on the USD. It's much better for us. When it's at par or higher, our industry struggles.
I don't know why everybody thinks thats the goal of a currency is to be worth more and more. There's a reason why some currency are lower and higher than others. The CAD is supposed to be 75 cnts on the USD.

Our meat comes from canada. The price of the dollar doesn't affect it.

I'm not traveling.
Plus there's a hell of a lot more money on the line in the industrial sector than the traveling sector. The only countries where I'll spend my money is in the other G7 countries. In the order of importance: 1) USA 2) UK australia 3) Germany,France 4) Japan Italy

Thats not necessarily true. A weaker currency can cause inflation even in domestic products.
