Midwest Mushroom ID

My first time posting on the shroomery, hello everyone.  While walking through a local neighborhood, I happened to glance down and notice a mushroom growing in fresh sod. I picked it, and found it quite similar in appearance to some active mushrooms I recently bought. I stopped in a CVS bathroom and compared the specimen to pictures of Panaeolus Cinctulus, which grows abundantly in my state(Missouri,) and found it to match as far as appearance goes. I then seen many others along my way home, stopping to pick as many as I could. After returning home, many of the mushrooms had become mangled in my backpack, and had to be disposed of. I picked out 73 surviving mushrooms and took spore prints. The stems and other mushrooms were then trashed. These were picked approx. 24 hours ago, on a hot day after a rainstorm in St. Louis, MO. I will post better and more detailed pictures when I have a camera available.

Habitat:
Freshly laid sod, and other well-manicured lawns/

Gills:
Gills were definitely attached, dark dark brown to blackish in colour.

Stem:
Stems were mostly under a centimeter thick, maybe a centimeter maximum.

Cap:
.5-2.5cm in diameter, tan-brown to brown to red-brown in color.

Spore print color:
Black, maybe some brown(?). Some ugly yellow liquid also seeped onto the paper. And one strange red spot.

Bruising:
I hadn't noticed any blue bruising on stems or caps, not sure what the bruising would really look like to the naked eye.

Other information:
in the box of caps, i get the same smell i get from a bag of magic mushrooms bought on the street.

Where are the pictures of the whole mushrooms, or at the very least the stems? Pictures of the mushrooms growing are usually helpful too (other than that this was a well written ID request).
I guess it's a moot point in this case as those are the dark brown prints of Panaeolus/Panaeolina foenisecii.

Welcome to the Shroomery!

Thank you! I've visited the site a few times before, but never took the time to join. Now, after my first real psychedelic experience, I decided it was time.  I had some pictures of the whole mushrooms, but they were taken with an inferior camera, and (more than likely) wouldn't have provided much detail.

Also, will the difference between P. Cinctulus and P. Foenisecci always be so subtle that i'll need a good camera to distinguish one from the other?
