Im having trouble identifying sectors in my myc on agar. Heres an example of my best one that i have. This is after the first transfer from the original multispore agar. So do i need to keep isolating further or whats your opinion. Thanks

Ya got a few sectors still there. The good news is your close. If you can take really small slices ya should have isolates. Aim for the individual ropes if you can. Then carefully label them and fruit them all. Then hopefully ya get one that is awesome, throw all the crappy ones away and fruit the good one forever

Thanks just making sure i was on the right track. I fruited ms before and potency was just pathetic. So im hoping this agar work cranks it up.

With potency its basically just try until ya find what ya want. Most cubes are pretty average, I eat about 6 grams or so to get a good trip going. But with really potent fruits I only need 1-1.5. But it can take some time to find that. So be patient. If your isolates fail you (not saying they will but nothing is guaranteed) try cloning. Its faster and easier to get an idea of what your gonna end up with.

I'm convinced, going to do agar in the next few weeks. From spore or from tissue sample?

Go for both. If you have something clone worthy like a nice cluster take clones yes!
Also knock up some plates from spores and clean them up for spawn, but keep the culture going to work on isolating
Cron beat me to it!

I feel like I have some really neat fruits from spore syringes, and I wanna replicate them, but I'm not sure if a LC is going to contain the same potential as multiple sectors - If that makes sense. Like, sure, similar characteristics, but they can't be dead-on, can they? Or is that why I'm aiming for a single sector isolate?

Wow I missed that this was only a single transfer. OP is lucky to have such limited genetics that quick. Might be some more tangled in there than it looks like at first but isolates are not far off. Well done.
With ms there is the potential for anything. Isolates are even more extreme. Many won't perform well, some might not fruit at all. But one in ten will be killer. So when ya find that one keep it.

Yea its only the first transfer from ms and i have 6 others with similiar results. I guess thats why i was asking about sectoring coz i wasnt expecting such good results. Thanks feels good to be lucky haha
