My first three tries with TEK Cakes, Verm, and BRF

Any advice is appreciated.
I thought I'd share my first three tries with BRF TEK cakes. I used organic BRF (Whole Foods brand), vermiculite and three different spore syringes. I notice something odd, some of the spores seems to take on a more "thready" cotton appearance as they grow, while others kind of look fuzzy like cotton balls. I also threw in a picture of a jar where things didn't go so hot, as you can see, the mold growing in the jar. I figured it was that particular spore syringe that was tainted, because all the jars I inoculated with that particular strain got moldy. Anyway, do these look good? Am I on the right track? The thready looking growth is now into it's third week, very slow if you ask me, but I do keep my house at a relative 65 degrees which may be the reason for the slow growth. The "cotton ball" appearing growth was only inoculated about a week ago so it's growing at a much more rapid rate. Same with the moldy jars.

throw the moldy jars out and don't focus so much on the cottony or ropey growth, it really makes no diff as long as it's clean that's the goal

Just recently my "cottony" jars just beat the pants off my "ropey" clone. Clean growth FTW

Yeah you're good. I went from 2 to 4 and am getting better results. 4 is good if they're not in a room that always has a fan going or something.

4 is optimal because it gives you optimal colonization times. More and you're giving too much room for contams to get in. It also allows more uniform colonization times with multispore since things tend to average out with 4 inoculation points.
Remember to re-sterilize infected jars before opening to avoiding a jizzing of spores all over your grow area.
