Is this a contamination this spots been here for awhile now prolly a week or so if it is a contam is there anything i can do the jar is almost 100% exept for that spot and some area underneath the jar for now its been isolated

If it was my jar I'd toss it. Don't believe in cutting out contams.

If that spot won't colonize it's probably because it's already colonized by a contaminant species. I'd toss it.

I dont really wanna toss it so i birthed it washed everything that wasnt myc off i noticed that spot was really packed tight i made a little personal 2 liter terrarium for it and i shall watch it closely at the first sign of contam i will bury in the pasteur under a pile of horse shit

Maybe you'll be fine if it was just packed so tight it couldn't colonize.

Yeah i know right i smelled the spot too and all i smelt was the beutiful smell of fresh mushrooms i really want to open the dunk container and smell it forever (this is my very first birthed cake) but i must be patient xD
