Baby food jars + case = good yield?

So Im shit out of luck on mason jars atm, so I've been working with these small gerber jars to test mycelium growth. I have 4 of these jars that are half colonized. And yes I know "how are you gonna get those cakes out of those jars?" Well I was planning on breaking the cakes up and doing a casing tek with a 50/50 blend of hp and straw. I'd rather case than cake since it pulls higher yields hence the surface area. Oh and just asking for feedback on how these jars look.

hpoo and straw is a bulk substrate, not a casing per se
4 of those jars really isn't a lot to start with, I'd suggest spawning to rye to acquire more spawn before you go to poo/straw. Is there a reason you can't get larger jars? I know some of the snap&seal are autoclavable if it has a 5 PP on it.

edit: also that growth looks great, just give it more time

My bad, I was going to mix in the 50/50 hp and straw with the brf myc and probably just put a Verm casing or coir. 4 jars seems like a good amount to get the myc to spread in a medium size tray and fruit. I have spawned to rye but it is taking an excessive amount of time to colonize
Btw thanks for the feedback, ryoung

Gotcha, you're right, it could be more than enough since I don't know what containers you're using and I spoke too soon since that wasn't really your question. The myc looks good to me.
But your plan should work better than cakes alone. More nutes + more water retention = more yield in my limited experience.
