I think cloning a good cluster will help you get more as well.
Are them aa+? i have some going nd they are clustering like crazy!!

On my last run I had lots of individual shrooms on the first flush with little clustering. On the second flush there was lots of clustering? This may lead me to believe that it was growing conditions and not genetics? Or perhaps it is a strategy used by the shrooms for reproduction?
Anyhow it makes for easy picking when they cluster.

Clone those clusters! If you're new to agar, here: Pastywhyte's Easy Agar Tek Stro's Cleaning and Isolating On Agar

Different genetics will be expressed in each flush, unless its an isolate.

Can you explain this? How do the genetics differ in later flushes?

In MS not every flush is of the same genetics, so what appears to be the second or third flush may actually be the first of a different strain.
