Hi friends,

So as i have just moved from here from overseas I have always had people around me that could ID the days catch. But now living in a foreign country, I feel very overwhelmed with the amount of fungus growing here. I apologise in advance for how many there are, but in a new country its so hard for me to tell. These were found in parks around south Melbourne. I would really appreciate an ID. Cheers heaps.

Species #1







Habitat:
Partly shady garden. Chip bark/mulch and wet soil.

Gills:
Dark white, possibly slightly purple. Same as picture

Stem:
Length 2-5cm, Diameter 2mm, Colour Brown/white, texture: smooth, Fairly solid.

Cap:
Diameter 2-20mm, Brown, smooth, conical, concave.

Bruising:
No bruising apparent.

Species #2



Habitat:
Partly shady park, next to grass. Chip bark/mulch and wet soil..

Gills:
Colour brown, small.

Stem:
Length 5-10cm, 5mm, colour white, smooth, solid.

Cap:
2-3cm, brown, smooth, concave.

Bruising:
Bruises dark purple after hour or so.

(not too sure about these but they look like some stuff back home)



Habitat:
Partly shady park, next to grass. Chip bark/mulch and wet soil..

Gills:
Colour light brown, medium spaced.

Stem:
Length 5-10cm, 2-5mm, colour white with red down the bottom, smooth, solid.

Cap:
2-5cm, red/brown, smooth, concave with little cap onto.

Bruising:
no bruising.

Habitat:
Partly shady park, next to grass. Chip bark/mulch and wet soil..

Gills:
Colour light brown, medium spaced.

Stem:
Length 2-5cm, width 2-5mm, colour white and brown, smooth, solid.

Cap:
0.5-1cm, brown, smooth, concave.

Bruising:
no bruising.

White, small/medium spaced.

Stem:
Length 2-3cm, width 2-5mm, colour white, smooth, solid.

none

Yellowish/white, medium spaced.

Stem:
Length 2-4cm, width 2-5mm, colour white, smooth, solid.

Cap:
0.5-3cm, yellowish/white, smooth, convex.

Bruising:
none

Under a tree in long grass.

Gills:
Brown, large.

Stem:
Length 4-6cm, width 2-3cm, colour white, smooth, solid.

Cap:
10-15cm, brown, smooth, convex.

#2 are psilocybe subaeruginosa

# 3 and #4 look to be leratiomyces ceres except for those small pins in the second pic of species #3 are something else.

# 6 looks to be a Hypholoma, probably Hypholoma fasciculare

Cheers heaps. Can i just clarify something because i can't seem to find the link to required species.

1) Mycena -NOT GOOD
2) Psilocybe subaeruginosa - GOOD
3) Leratiomyces ceres - VERY NOT GOOD
4) I don't know.
5) Gymnopus - GOOD?? (site says sp. is good but im not sure what just the name means)
6) Could be close to Hypholoma caponoides - BAD
7) I don't know.

You're mistaking Gymnopus for Gymnopilus. The P. subaeruginosa are the only psychoactive mushrooms you have there.
