So some of my friends and I are thinking about doing an all night Dungeons & Dragons campaign while tripping off LSD (and bud). We're gonna set up this nice ass table map and some black light-painted character figurines; I'm actually pretty stoked about this!

It's gonna be me, 2 people who are just as experienced with psyches as I am, and someone who has never done drugs in their life (not even alcohol). She's told me that she's nervous but in a very good way!

What do you guys think our dosage should be. I'm kinda scared that if we're all too out of it we might have to scrap the whole game. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

First of all, LSD is definitely not a good first drug for anyone. Starting off small and working your way up is always the safest and most productive approach to drugs. I recommend that anyone wanting to try acid should be experienced with high doses of cannabis, and have at least a couple mushroom trips under their belt first. Giving your friend with no experience a powerful psychedelic that lasts for 12+ hours would be very irresponsible.

On the topic of D&D, I imagine it would be very difficult, even if everyone was experienced and comfortable with the drug. I would recommend starting with a low dose and using a pre-constructed campaign. This is a situation where one of the more simplified newer editions would work best, at least until you get the hang of it. If you can pull it off, it should be a lot of fun.

Hmm, yeah I figured as much. I'm gonna tell her this tomorrow and possibly talk her down into just trying the bud (maybe some pot cookies?). As for me and the rest of my friends we pretty much have at least a dozen trips under our belt so I think we'll be safe.

Oh, and good call on the rule set! I figure we're gonna have to come up with a couple house-rules depending on how cognitive we're actually gonna be able to be.

We're gonna continue off our last campaign but under a more simple edition of the game and with all our health stats reset. It's gonna be hell converting our stats and things might not work out well so I'm declaring ahead of time that this session isn't going to be canon.

Edit: Actually if this ends up turning the campaign into something hilarious I just might keep it in, lol

I was thinking the same as the previous poster, lsd to someone who has absolutely no experience with any drugs sounds like something that should be looked at more thoroughly.. The rest sounds pretty good tho. It's worth a shot :cool::thumbup: I wouldn't make it the main goal tho, just like have it around incase u guys feel like playing it, that way there's no pressure or anything :shrug:
