Bluing after Fruiting?

Howdy Shroomeriers!
I have been searching for quite a while and can't get a clear answer so, this seems like the most logical next step.. Post pics and let the pro's weigh in!
My homie got some great fruit from this first flush (dunked 24 hrs) meza using a SGFC fanning and misting often.
He harvested some early bloomers but started noticing bluing on cakes when the fruits started blasting off. From what I understand, this is probably bruising due to dehydration, but he's kept the hydration lvl as RH as high as been able to get on the hygro (reads 85% on average and seems awfully moist in there).
So the question is, does this look like a contam to you or dehydration. Is this normal? How should he remedy this situation if this does in fact need remedying.
Thanks a bunch.

Deep blue (bruising i hope)

His very first ever harvest!!!

Bluing = bruising.
Mist nicely once you induce fruiting, and not again until the next flush.

They will be fine, just spray them until they glisten and fan right after. Don't spray again until the water has absorbed and or evaporated and mist and fan again. Just let them dry up a little and you'll be fine. Good luck

Yeah you should be misting cakes 3x a day (so they glisten) and fanning 6x a day(heavy after every misting and then in between misting as well). I assume buck was giving you advise if you where using a bulk tek.

Advise was for cakes , there really is no schedule for them. Everyone's environment is different so I told him mist until they glisten and fan right after and not to mist again until the water has absorbed and or evaporated and mist and fan again. Just to let them dry up a little for now because they look water logged to me

I also see aerial mycelium and only two holes. How did you build that, holes every two inches? If not, there's all your problems and cutting back on watering will not solve them. The SGFC design is specific to allow just enough FAE from ambient air to remove CO2 and allow evaporation. Less holes=less evaporation and more CO2 build up.

It's holes every 2" all six sides.. I Think the holes are too small though. Drilling some bigger ones soon. Thanks for your help!

A quarter inch drill bit is the exact size needed.
