I am at a point where everyday I find myself thinking/ obsessing over the thoughts of being on drugs. I am just sooo fucking bored and numb to the every
day aspect of life that I don't want to be sober. Getting stoned on MJ is not enough, now that doesn't mean it's a gateway drug people. I walk around
aimlessly trying to find anything to do and there is nothing that brings me any real joy. My last trip I felt caged like I was in a bottle and I just realized
as I am typing that this is how feel all the fucking time now. It sucks. Anyone else here on this realm? This plain? Whatever the f you want to call it.

Drugs will only make it worse.

Now a little back info; i do go to therapy twice a week, once DBT group and once individual. I take 20mg paxil for depression. It's in my genes it's been
pounded visually and mentally from my surroundings as long as I can remember. I am a father of two and will not leave to better suite my needs. I just keep
searching for anything to find any sort of happiness and I can't seem to find it anywhere. It's like the weather in here in cali, everything is all dried up.
All emotions other than anger and sadness.

That's sad as hell. If you're in Cali there should be high level martial arts schools around. Try that!

Anti-depressants do not help this feeling. For that matter, neither do cannabinoids.
When you trip and feel a certain way, you should pay attention to how you are feeling.
It sounds like you need to make changes to your life. I don't think drugs are the problem (even if they are a bandage) but they are not the solution, either.

I can relate. I see the world around me and all of its possibilities. The potential feelings of emotion, but I ignore them and likewise wonder aimlessly. I can see what needs to be done, but can't find myself to come to action. I do what is needed in my day to day life, but I am detached. Prior to yesterday evening I hadn't meditated in a few weeks and became extremely lazy. A cycle that I unfortunately developed. (usually reading, intense workouts, dog training, hiking, etc...).
For me though it's a moment of inspiration. To know that when your that low, you know exactly where you want to be. ANYWHERE BUT THERE FEELING LIKE SHITE!
I am happier and more optimistic today more so than I was yesterday and it is all because revisited my doctrines in my mind. I know I want to make a change and that's all I needed the idea and the will to do something different.
Retrieve into your doctrines. What it is to be you and what it means to be a satisfied you.
Good luck man. Men become what they think.

It's tough to get going. I went to a job interview this last week that I've been looking forward to for a month now and it was a total let down. Sent me
into another downward spiral. I just feel like there is little to no bright side. Sucks man bur yeah it is day to day. Hour to hour at some points. This
thread wasn't meant to be a self loathing boo ho sort of thing. Just wondering how many of you out there feel the same.
