Aya with confusa and caapi
    #21690964 - 05/17/15 03:20 PM (8 years, 8 months ago)

Hope everyone is having a great day. Crazy Old Billybob down the way is in the process of making a ayahuasca brew for the first time.

10g of Acacia Confusa
50g of B. Cappi (black)

Both in seperate pots with 1 tbsp white vinegar each and 1L of water.

brought to a boil then set on LOW for 2-3 hour for each pull, then boiling sum of pulls down to reasonable amount. Ah the sweet aromas fill the air. Quite exquisite.

Also curious if anyone here has anything to share about an experience with the above recipe.

Sure, although mostly with mimosa tea and not confusa.

I would take a bit more caapi and much less confusa. 50g caapi can be a mild dose with most vine. It's up to you but i'd take around 70g caapi if possible and 3 or 4g confusa. 10g is a lot...At say 2% potency, that would be around 200mg of DMT/NMT. People don't realize that you need way way less DMT depending on the vine dose. Most people are just taking enough vine to inhibit MAO, but this isn't how it's traditionally been used. Nothing wrong with doing that, but IMO it can be a waste of DMT/plant material and is greatly missing out on the profound qualities of the vine/rue.

Remember the vine itself is psychedelic and incredible on it's own at higher amounts, so naturally if you take more you will need even less confusa. Or, if you take the same amount of confusa with a higher dose of vine, it will be very different and much longer.

Thank you for you wisdom! agree on  lower dose of confusa, just brewed 10g because it was just a nice round number that was read online. no intention on drinking all of it. This is just a guaging experiment and it is much appreciated that you took the time to respond. The b.caapi was the real intent behind it all. Just getting a feel for the old girl:wink:
