i feel like they feel like they have to play it, they're probably tired of it too but if they don't play it then people get all pissy like "i saw Zeds Dead and they didn't even play white satin!!!"

not that that is a good reason to play it but yea

yeah its kinda cuz theyre like beginner edm stuff. but even then, if your going to shows hoping for certain tracks, youre doing it wrong

like if you havent seen zeds dead in like the 4 year span since they dropped that track, then you fucking missed out and too bad. stop playing super old shit at every show

throwbacks can def be cool, but only every so often

Pretty sure OP isn't underage guys.  In this thread he said that someone "can really throw down at behind the deck", which is something my mom would say if she was trying to learn raver lingo. My mom is 60.

The way your keyboard is set up, it was as much or more work to type "confirm'd" than it'd take to just type "confirmed".  But your way is less mainstream.

Pretty sure that's what he was going for.

Seeing as how the ' is farther from both the E and the M than the E is from the D, I would have to say it was more work. Sometimes that's what it takes to be legit.

haha kron, i remember you saying youre just getting into this kinda music

if you are, dont take advice from OP ever. im pretty sure hes not even 18. theres tons of great electronic music out there. look at the electronic music thread. so many posts and so many genres too. most people who post in that thread truly give a fuck too so its like moreso deep cuts than this stupid mainstream kandi raver shit

Right on.
Since I rarely go to EDM shows what I'll do is just go on youtube and look for EDM Mixes.
Most of the stuff I hear on there I do like very much, but couldn't begin to tell you what DJ mixed what tracks that I enjoyed the most.

The one band/dj (I have no idea what to call it) that I've grown to really enjoy is Pretty Lights. Their remixes are awesome IMO. I have no idea if they are mainstream, underground, on the streets, or in my sheets but their music sounds great in my earholes.

Could someone kindly point me in the direction of the electronic music thread? Thanks.

Pretty Lights is def a bigger name but hes really good. his shows are a lot of fun and he has some crazy fuckin lasers for stage production too, like some of the best ive ever seen. his music is really easy to get into. also one of the first names i got into
