And pour it over straw at 130 temp to boost it more.
--------------------
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Calcium is a necessary mushroom nute but straw has plenty in it apparently because I have been working with 100% straw lately with awesome results. Followed RR tek. Soak in hot soapy water 120 mins. Drain. Pasteurize in water and hydrated lime for 75 minutes. Drain and cool. Spawn rye to it in bags. Quite amazing and cheap even for organic straw.

Its all organic after the mushrooms take hold lol
So should I add more calcium hydroxide? I have a 50 gallon tub filled and already add a half pound awhile ago. Just got the temp up to 60 degrees cellius (140 F).
Anyhow i just started timing at 12:30 mountain time.

If you are looking for guaranteed gains then no don't use it. I've used it to correct water ion content of mash water in beer brewing but don't remember ever reading a reputable source use it for boosts in mycology. I am certain it won't hurt in moderation but what are you hoping to gain?
