ID Requests first. I have made a few guesses. Sorry for poor 'iphone photo' quality.. All specimens found in Aucklands North Shore, Pine+NZ forest, unless detailed otherwise.
#1 Some kind of Amanita but I'm not sure which..

#2 I'm guessing Galerina marginata or Cyathus striatus(typo) Pholiotina rugosa they are prolific at the moment.

#3 Found in the thousands on pine wood chip.

#4

#5

#6 Sorry no gill shot, didnt want to take it out. Looked so majestic.

#7 Hoping this one is edible as there are several large specimens and more on the way..

#8 Found in thick Leptospermum scoparium forrest. Very hard/dense mushroom. 'rock-like'
#9 I've posted this mushroom a few times with no luck on ID. My last attempt. There's a patch of them nearby so wanting to be sure of edibility.. So far Russula is all I'm sure of. A white spore print and smoky smell is all else I can provide.

Ok ID requests over, now a few pics from hunts that I are (I think) at least partially ID'd correctly.
Mycena Sp.

Amanita Muscarias vivid red

Active Gymnopilus

Psilocybe weraroa

Amanita nehuta

Cute Cruentomycena viscidocruenta

Some delicious looking Auricularia polytricha. Soon to be eaten

Cyathus striatus

The face of The Buddha found on a large Boletus semigastroideus

Hope you enjoy the pics and thanks for any help with IDs

Cool mushrooms and cool photos.
The only one I can help you with is #6, which is a Macrolepiota species, probably Macrolepiota procera but I don't know anything about which species occur in NZ. I can also tell you that #2 is probably not Cyathus striatus, but I think you know that already and you just made a typo there.

Thanks ent, Macrolepiota procera didn't occur to me at all as I'm used to seeing them in grass fields. I might head back and check the gills, would be worth it for the meal . Yeah that Cyathus striatus was a complete typo, supposed to be Pholiotina rugosa.

I'm not much good with NZ fungi but here are a few thoughts: 4. probably a Russula 5. Calocera cornea 6. Macrolepiota clelandii 7. maybe a Calvatia 8. Hypomyces sp. 9. maybe Russula macrocystidiata
