thought the last was some type of bird from a distance didnt pick it though.

hmm quite an array of types.. the red caps with white spots if im not mistaken are amanita muscaria all of the other flatter caps are definitely not anything you want to be eating, you can tell by looking at the stems, no blue/green bruising. However it looks like you have a few P. Weraroa the little blueish pouches, these are active although i would stay away from the one in the middle, looks a little rotten, even the top specimen may be a bit dodgy on the inside.

That is a very rare Amanita from Section Lepidella, it has only ever been reported 15 times, my recent find of the same species would be the 16th time and this would be the 17th.

All red tops in photo had white dots on them but washed off under water.are amanitas known to bruise blue or purple? The p.weraroa I think are young ssprouts and appeared dark after handling them definitely not enough of it for a trip. Would a spore print be appropriate? If so what are the usual results for amanita?
