My friend, Land Lord, has been thinking about putting a front deck to the house. Having gone to Costco and seeing a Kazeebo made of cedar, standing 10'x10', a basic square w/ pointed roof selling for $1,200.
? question ? how much wood would a 66sq' deck with awning cost in wood?
any guesses?
going to price out meself here online. guesses, closes wins a prize...

I built a 10 X 16 Deck without awning for just under a grand ...
Are you doing work yourself or hiring it out?
I would guess around $1150 for materials ,With an awning if you are doing labor
If hired out between $1500_$2500 depending on contractor. I opted for more sq footage and to add awning later... I really don't regret the extra square feet.
Let me know who wins the guessing game.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Without any design parameters other than something vague, I wouldn't even hazard a guess...

Thanks...
Type of wood makes a lot of difference in pricing...
I am in the desert southwest area ... So wood is really expensive here as well.

There are tons of wood types and of course it has a different price, if you would tell us specifically your plan, maybe we could help you. I wish you luck on that project!
