Hey there. I found these mushrooms in an old Natural Reserve (forest environment). These were growing on leaf litter, wood debree, decomposing matter. I have many pictures, im working on the spore print right now. Haven't noticed Blue bruising.
Any assistance? There were alot of these coming up in the same area. I only grabbed one because there was a large bee living real close

Thanks for any help! Spore print coming soon if you guys cant do without it.

Is banded mottle gill...pan sub?....im not up to par on my terms....
Uhh....those dont look like pans....they infact dont look like any actives im aware of the grow here in Michigan. ...if thats what you are hopin.....just sayin....pluteus...gyms....those are actives ive found quite a few of over time....amanitas grow in abundance here aswell....just sayin.
Spore print should be black....caps are usualy not perfect circles.....that mushroom looks yellowish...pan subs shouldnt.....also shouldnt have nipples....that seems to have one...idk tho.. I wouldnt have my hopes up....though I dont know exactly what it is....
Ive never seen a pan sub bruise....

Yea Banded Mottlegill is Pan Sub. It isnt bruising. I dont have my hopes up but thats what I am hoping it to be, lol. But whether its active or not I want to know what it is. Ive found Gymnopilus here in Mich, but Pan Subs are said to grow here.
Thanks for the response, I hope I get another that settles it

Definitely not any type of Panaeolus, It looks like probably an Agrocybe species.
