Could you use nitrous as a preservative?

Like if I wanted to get all the air out of my storage container to preserve my stash better? Because nitrous is heavier than air. Or would it degrade my LSD in any way?

Not sure but I always wondered if h134a would work since it is non reactive, cheap, and much heavier than air. I bet argon would work good.

Unless your storage container actually seals, I think it would just be a waste of time and effort. I'd imagine it'd dissipate out of most any container you put it in.

I'm not sure if that'd hold it in, I'm not sure but I don't think the seal "engages" just by screwing on the lid.

Pretty much. I'm just basing it off my canning, but the seal isn't considered "sealed" unless there's a vacuum on it. It's not considered safe unless the seal actually locks the lid down, and without that I dunno that it'd hold in the nitrous permanently.

isnt LSD really sensitive to oxidization? if anything i would assume nitrous oxide would be worse than regular air
thats just an assumption though. ive never heard of preserving anything with N2O, its an oxidizer
edit: actually was just reading wikipedia and it says they use it for filling bags of potato chips and shit like that, so im probably wrong.
