Is fly agaric mushroom addictive?

I have been using a lot of mushrooms lately and seemingly with great healing and benefit to me. I am so into mushrooms though, that I must admit the question of addiction has crossed my mind.
Currently I use 1-3 grams of fly agaric mushroom daily and psilocybin mushrooms weekly. Would this be considered excessive? Does aminita muscaria cause a physical addiction?

I've read a lot of people say they've used mushrooms weekly, I personally think it's a little excessive but unless you're realizing something negative it's doing to you, then enjoy
PS. not a fan of amanitas, but I don't think they cause physical addiction...mental addiction though, anything can do that.
Addiction Potential # Psychoactive Amanitas are neither physically addicting nor likely to cause psychological dependence. Source: Erowid.org
might not be likely, but if you like something and do something enough, mental addiction can still happen.

Why are you taking fly agaric mushrooms daily? Like what effects are you aiming for? There is a chance of them psychologically addictive. You might wanna try and take an amanita break for a few days to see whether or not it affects you.
Just curious, when are you taking the amanitas? Like morning or in the afternoon?

My favorite time to take the aminita is early evening after I have gotten off work and rested a bit but today being saturday I took some first thing in the morning today.
I take aminita daily because it makes me feel so good. the positive effects i get from it are;
- analegisia (sp) it kills pain
- euphoria
- sense of connectedness to nature
- sense of stillness, freedom from my overactive mind/nervous system
- music enhancement
- sense of being the presence of God
- healing
Rather than being stuck in thoughts about the past or future, when I take aminita I feel free to be in the moment, I feel innocent and child like again and it makes me feel so alive.
I am a former heroin addict and sometimes when I take aminita it makes my body feel like I am on heroin but my mind trips rather than being sedated. Its just so enjoyable I worry about the addiction potential, its like the perfect drug and in addition to all the recreational effects i find it extremely spiritual, as it tends to dissolve all the structures which separate me from God. I thank God every day for the blessing of the mushroom, but at the same time I worry I am an addict and will just spend the rest of my life high on aminitas and psilos. Both species have now effected my consciousness so much that I dont even feel fully human anymore, I feel more like I am half man, half mushroom.

I don't care what any report says, if you have an addictive personality you are likely to get addicted to anything. I believe any substance can be addictive.
But that is not necessarily a bad thing. Addiction proves useful for many things. It's all how you use it bro. I am a daily MaryJ user and I will
willingly admit I am addicted. But unlike my other addiction the withdraw from MAryJ or lets say some mushrooms is nothing compared to that of heroin or
alcohol. Take what you will but i IMO you aren't doing anything bad. I am very curious to your use of the amanita myself. Thanks for sharing.

I have a veery addictive personality. I am currently 31 years old and have been addicted to everything from marijuana to crack cocaine. I managed to stop using crack, heroin, benzos and alcohol but I still smoke hash/weed daily, take aminita daily, kratom daily and psilocybin mushroom weekly. I love combining a little hash with the aminita muscaria. What an incredible high.

I feel ya bro. I'm 34 and in the same boat with weed. Got rid of the opiate and benzo addiction a couple years ago. Every day i wish that i could just
"feel better" than I do or get from pot or shrooms. I hate using a substance to just feel "normal". But if i don;t i fall into a miserable depression, so I
guess it's one or the other.
