I have nothing to offer as to direct experience. I have, however, read extensively of success stories and of course have also heard of adverse reactions.
I treated my own polydrug addiction by cycling for 4 months in South America and then spending a week in the Amazon taking Ayahuasca (every second day.)
In my case - I had done the personal work, and the medicine drove the message home and impacted me ways i didn't expect (suggesting empathy towards family) - never the less, I succeeded brilliantly and have had zero instance of ability to relapse.
I realize my scenerio isn't relatable to opiates and physical withdrawl.
Here's to having the strength to become a better person.

You might consider mentioning the back pain to the witch doctors when you see them. link

That was 3 years ago. I've relapsed and got back on suboxone in that time. If you're curious as to my current drug usage i'm a regular poster in the Currently Active thread in ODD. I just relapsed on heroin tonight too unfortunately
I was a heroin addict for 5 years before going on suboxone. Suboxone has probably saved my life, I don't want to know what would have happened to me had I kept banging dope all day everyday
It would be nice if someone who posts here were supportive. Bringing up 3 year old posts are completely irrelevant to my current circumstances.

A huge vector for relapse such as back pain may necessitate the services of a Voodoo specialist by pre-arrangement at the facility.

No, I'd like the OP to pursue the scenario, or at least bring it to the attention of the curandero's

Anon 1 you've been warned, no more unproductive comments or derailing the thread , ibogane, while a contrive real treatment, has shown great signs of success and turnaround with opiate addicts. And since a great amount Of opiate addictions end in death or do or worse, I hardly think ibogane is more harmful than the addiction itself overall.
Not to dismiss adverse reactions, but I've got a lot more dead friends from adverse reactions to too much smack, than I do to trying to cure the. Selves in every possible way combined

zippoz "in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption" "People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."

In addressing the cause for the previous relapse I meant to constructively inform the OP of an alternative therapy for the pain that has resulted in his condition. Concern for the underlaying factor in no way derails the intent and hoped for response to the ibogane treatment IMO.

Normally I would just ignore this asshole, but I can't because he's anonymous. A catch 22 of dealing with anon trolls.
I'd prefer to have him banned from this thread, making it so he can't see it or respond in it. That would be a nice option to have as an OP being able to keep trolling anon's out.
