not at all. it's just that deeper substrate tends to = bigger shrooms.

if you're going for yields, then minicasings of BRF/verm substrate will not be your best bet.

a quarter pint minicasing will yield better than a quarter pint cake in proper conditions, but if you're going to case in the first place, i'd case at least a pint per.
