So I'm going to be trying a low dose of LSD for the first time this summer I've just been a bit worried about what I've been reading about LSD triggering Schizophrenia in people with family history The one relative I know with schizophrenia is my mom's uncle So if I do a low dose (~115ug) will anything bad happen?

If you are going to get schizophrenia you're going to get it regardless. Lsd or no LSD. It'd just be a matter of time. I'm not positive on this though....just my theory.

What is sanity?

being able to adjust to consensual reality, paying your bills, being independent , not suffering from crippling anxiety and debillitating mental phenomenons

I think everyone has their own idea of sanity then.
I felt the most isolated when I did those things you are talking about. Forcing myself to perceive things how others say I should, working my ass off to pay bills so I can afford to be independent and work my ass off some more, and avoid all the amazing phenomenons that happen.
I think sanity is how you cope with things that are in your way. Do you scream and stomp? Or smash and try to break through? Figure it out rationally.
Paying bills and not having anxiety....sheesh if that's all it took to feel copacetic.

I feel the same way, though, a schizo has no willpower in the way he copes, deal with life.

I've been depressed in the past, even had to go to the psych ward, see a therapist, because i was too afraid to face the realities of life. I've grown to be a much more mature man because of that. though i wouldnt wish that on my worse enemy. different strokes for different folks I guess.

do you think if i took like 10 different tabs, lets say 1kug would i just trip balls or would i die?

you'd only die if you attempted suicide, which could be likely due to the fact that your losing your mind on a hellish mental rollercoaster riding through nightmarish dimensions. or you'd end up in jail.
or all could be fine and dandy and dreamy

LSD doesn't cause schizophrenia, but it can make it surface sooner than it would otherwise in those predisposed.

My best friend and I tripped acid literally hundreds of times over a 20 year span. He lost his shit one time in the late 90's and had to take some time off in the psych ward. He came back pretty normal for years. He lost his shit twice over the last 4 years and now I refuse to trip with him so he won't dose anymore. He now takes some very strong sedatives and anti psychotics daily and cannot hold a job. He has a substantial family history of mental illness. All that being said, I think his symptoms would have appeared regardless of drug use but, these days, the hallucinagens really bring it out in him. They seemingly had little or no consequence when we were younger. I have no mental illness aside from the occasional bout with depression which is normal for most people.

DMT should remind you that you are a god playing a game with a giant family of gods in shitty human vessels that can be healed easily at will after this reminder.

You'll trip on LSD, if anything bad happens is entirely on the decisions you make.
~115ug isn't a little bit. Try 40ug for a little bit FYI.

But in all seriousness, we all go through profound emotional states that affect our mental health. The loss of a brother, divorce, death of a son, even the loss of a pet can trigger psychotic breaks in people.
Psychedelics also induce powerful mental changes. Sometimes positive, sometimes negative. It really depends on how you handle it.

LSD isnt going to bring anything to the surface that isnt already there. Even if you lose your marbles its still "you" and "You" wont be aware of it

The "you" you know as an egoic persona is not the "you" that is truly you.

Is it really worth it? A lot of people have their lives change in a negative way from psychedelics and you already know schizophrenia runs in your family, so why risk it?

My psychiatrist thought I had some form of schizophrenia caused by bouts of depression. As when I was happy or normal, I could live life fine. But whenever I'd get these weeks or more of depression, I'd have these psychotic breaks. Like voices in my head, attempted suicide, thoughts of harm, severe delusion, and anxiety.
Ever since I used psychedelics I have not had a single schizophrenic episode. I've done both LSD and mushrooms, at various doses and I feel better than I have in years. I'm not saying go for it, as it can be a risk, but honestly it fixed me.

i believe you're thinking of Acute Drug induced Psychosis.
as someone said above, if you're going to get schiz you'll get it lsd or no lsd. it's extremely hard to draw a causal relationship between lsd/hallucinogen use and schizophrenia.

I had a similar experience, with two different friends.
With the first friend we tripped for a few years together, at minimum once a month, at maximum once a week. He ended up getting early onset of a psychological disorder.
With my second friend we tripped a few times, and he ended up losing it and also developing an early onset of a psychological disorder.

Yeah if psych's cured your schizophrenia then you most likely got out of the psychotic break long before you took psyches again
