for a person to develop spiritually
To do that one must work with first 3 chakras
To develop yourself sexually you must work with 2nd navan chakra

He seems to know a lot about chakras, he should definitely give that speech.

I wrote a 222 page doctoral dissertation on chakras, published by Microfilms International, Inc., and 32 years later, I cannot claim to know a LOT about chakras. Sir John Woodruff might have known a LOT about chakras, if you look at a few of his now classic books, but even knowing ABOUT something doesn't necessarily mean that one is any more spiritually developed than the next person. The question is: are you balanced in your motivations?

Thanks for sharing that info Markos. Funny saying how the Woodstock video was your introduction to kundalini. It was my first time hearing about it as well after watching the film a few years ago. If you don't mind, I may pm you with some questions. Your posts in other threads shows an impressive command over language in addition to a fluency in worldly interactions. I tip my hat.

Glancing at the Similar Threads section below, and seeing 'The Chakras, how to open and power them Part 1' by ThetaTherian listed,
I'm reminded of a simple and interesting thing. . .
For me, opening the chakras would be like opening the heart, opening the mind, etc. - opening yourself to something.
Opening oneself up is a good idea in many situations, yet in others, it's important to be safe -- In other words, open up in the right situations, open up in nature, in peace, in beauty - and then see more beauty.
If we're trying to learn from someone, for example, being interested is a big part of learning, and that can be chosen, we can choose to be interested or not. . .
If something is not what we want to learn; just to be uninterested is a good way to not learn more about it.
To the OP: yes, absolutely - why not? Speak sing and share what you know and love because it's a wonderful thing to do.

Soul-Shine. PMs are fine any time. Hey, look at that, first time with a rhyme, how sublime! (Just showing off my linguistic skills). Seriously, I'm always glad to discuss my own take on the subject of chakras, but in my academic work, I removed them from the subtle (astral) realm of Eastern and Western occultism and applied them to Western psychology to explain how there really isn't a contradiction between the motivational theories of Freud, Adler, Jung, Frankl, Maslow, or Rogers, whom I selected because these theorists' human motivations could all be arranged hierarchically according to the Buddhist chakra model I used. There were hundreds of typos. I think my dissertation committee didn't really read it but simply passed me anyway. I can't find it listed other than my previous references to it here. My wife says I should republish it with a less academic title than: A Phenomenological Adaptation of the Tibetan Buddhist Doctrine of Psychic Centers to a Metatheoretical Hierarchy of Human Motivation. I wanted it to read the last six words, but the committee made me give it such a ponderous title, typical if academic treatises. My academic advisor, a Jungian analyst, said it was "a very ambitious project." Five purchases were made in paper and microfilm after it was available. I got a royalties check for $17 and change.

You gotta tell people that disbelief prevents progress - step away from common views and experience magic for yourself
-------------------- Just because I am arrogant does not mean I forget my place. It is how I choose to talk. I am not a monk. I am my own path, and I am without influence. Talk to me about my core being before you question my mental stability or life-choices. Chances are, they're only shocking to you because they don't fit your idea of what is.

I'm way past peaching glimpee. That was for a young man excited about new discoveries and assuming that others would be equally excited to listen. Now, I simply make myself available to anyone who is at that same [st]age of discovery.

Respectable, especially if you have an open audience
