Hi everyone, so i collected these fine specimens today and wanted to confirm that they are Psilocybe subaeruginosa.
I am yet to do spore print but shall do so overnight.

Gills: Light Brown
Stem: Light Brown
Cap: Brown, fleshy/rubbery
Bruising: Black/Purple Ink colour

Also I wanted opinions on my drying setup as shown in the images above. Plastic container with lid, paper towel on bottom (to soak the Damprid slushiness) with dry Damprid 1 inch deep on top and a plastic drying rack with square mesh and lid to seal it shut.

Yes, all appear to be P. subs.
Your drying set up looks good to me.

Thanks for the quick and helpful response.
How long do you think it would take to dry them? I read 4-5 days.
Also do you think that some of the bigger split shrooms are too old/bruised or are still ok to consume?
Thankyou in advanced

I think they would be okay as long as they don't smell bad.

I always fan dry first, then put them in drying chamber to make cracker dry.

4-5 days sounds about right. The large ones look ok-ish but it's up to you. If you think some look too old then discard them.

Thanks everyone for the help, they smell fine, to me. I will see how they go drying and maybe fan dry next time first.
I'm not sure if I am allowed to ask about dosage, but how many would you recommend for one person?

Yeah this is the way to go. I've never put fresh mushrooms straight into a desiccant chamber but I imagine this would take a fair bit longer and also run through your desiccant quicker, as it's having to absorb a lot more moisture. For a first timer, I would say 4-5 good sized specimens will have a very nice effect.
