Taking tissue from a clone
    #21684590 - 05/15/15 08:16 PM (8 years, 8 months ago)

So yea..Im testing a bajillion clones right now and apparently the marker used to label was not of tge permanent variety  .

Heres an example. Nice tub. Cant figure out which plate corresponds to this tub

So Im going to have to take a "clone" from these clones... just wondering if there is any negatives from this practice

Thanks!

Senescence is the reason to be concerned. I bet you will be fine though. I have seen some nice grows from clones grocery store mushrooms. And those cultures are much older and have been expanded much farther than yours.

Beautiful grow!

You'll be closer to senescence.

Just retest your plates. I'm assuming they're all performing pretty well anyways.
