Can't speak for TX, but I know I could find them here right now. What was the weather like today?

Is this really the best place to make this thread?
If i'm not mistaken I think there's a forum called "hunting and identification"

I used to find them in cowpatties early mornings up near trees
Granite Shoals,Bee Cave, area close to Austin...
Been many years but weather seems right...
Get permission from a rancher to be on land....
Tell them you are a student at UT and your taking a photo or art class and need some natural settings for a class.
Good Luck

Yeah, cow pasture. Try not to trespass, like the above poster said, but if you do be careful and don't get shot!

Let us know if you have any luck,
And don't eat any unidentified wild mushrooms.

they're not cubes, how did you plan to hunt for cubes, without knowing what cubes look like.
