Being a Janitor/Grounds keeper?

I got a job offer for an RV Park, basically being a grounds keeper. It honestly sounds fun as hell. Get to drive a golf kart around the premises, working outdoors, pretty much being a handyman for the park.
However there is a downside. Its minimum wage, and for someone who has as much debt as me, I could use all the help I can get.
What do you think guys? Would you take the Job? Keep in mind I have been sitting out of work for 2 months now, applying, getting rejected, waiting, playing the unemployment game (and counterstrike). Im going out of my fucking mind.
Thoughts? Would you hold out for something better? I have a job interview monday for a job at a local brewery. We will see how that goes

Sounds like you don't have a choice. Take it, and keep looking for something better.

Isnt that being an asshole? Accepting the job only to say "Fuck you" and to walk out 2 months down the line because of a better job? Not to mention it looks like shit on a resume.
AM I crazy here?

It's a minimum wage job. They're used to that shit. If they didn't care about turnover they would provide more compensation. This ain't charity, it's a job. You need money. Taking a minimum wage job to get some cash flow, then upgrading when you have the chance is best option....and I guarantee they'd expect it to go like that. Far as your resume goes, just put that it was a temporary thing.

So don't mention that job on your resume. Doesn't matter if its being an asshole. You need income, correct? Minimum wage is more than you're making now, but not enough, correct,? So, your best option is: take the minimum wage job, make some money, pay some bills, and continue looking for a higher paying job.

No thats not being an asshole. Thats what a minimum wage job is. A shitty lowest paid shit job. The golf cart is cool but picking up dog dodo and unclogging clogged RV hookup sewer lines. Youll be glad you found something different. But money is money. And I say take it and let your employer know a little in advance before you leave for your hopefully better position in the future. Then youve made some money got off your ass and maybe even jumped a golf cart over a few parked RVs. Either way, good luck finding a better job. Its a tough market out there.

No. Turnover is expected in minimum wage jobs. This is because the people working them are usually young, lack skills and experience, or some combination of the above.

my father always said "Its best to take the job you can get, until you can get the job that you want" I say take that job. If/when something better comes up, you will have a better recent work history, besides already having a job makes it so much easier to find future employment.

What do you think guys?
Pros: Outdoors, meet interesting/cool people, gettin' paid Cons: Not the money you need to be making, meet pricks/yokels
Would you take the Job? Yes
Thoughts? I once had a maintenance job and the first duty every morning was to drive around the grounds on a golf cart and pick up trash. Had a boom box in the back that was usually blasting Parliament/Funkadelic. The was a nearby strip club and when groundkeeping near there I would always find money and NSFW photographs.
Would you hold out for something better? Naw, do the gig and keep scoping for an upgrade in the process.

Just give a notice before you leave OP. As for looking like shit, I've been a reference for dishwashers that only worked for a couple months "He was a great worker and employee, who found a better opportunity at your company. Can't blame him for leaving at all."
