I don't believe putting people to death is punishment. Living your life in prison is punishment. Death is release from a literal living hell. I'm not against the death penalty, I just don't agree that it's the worse punishment.
--------------------
With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way. I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today. Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear. I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear. You can't wake up, this is not a dream. You're part of a machine, you are not a human being With your face all made up, living on a screen. Low on self esteem, so you run on gasoline

Shoot him out of a cannon into the sea. If he survives, say if someone can catch him in a giant net, he's free to go.
Death penalty isn't really about punishment, it's about retribution for all the families whose lives he, and his brother, destroyed.

I agree entirely. I have a feeling he will get the death penalty. With the amount of lives that were at stake I feel as if from the courts eyes he should be dead.
Death Penalty debate if anyone is interested.

That's true but let go of your revenge And just get him of this planet,
I also only belive death penalty is usuable if there is hard evidence against the defense

In this case there is hard evidence. I suppose we should let go of revenge, Justice is going to happen in some form no matter what in this situation.
In my opinion, I believe the family ought to choose. But we have a unbiased jury for a reason, sometimes the lines aren't as clear as I believe they are in someone being guilty/not guilty to whatever extent. This asshole is clearly guilty in its fullest extent.

I just hate how fucked up the justice system is, if your on death row, with nothing but like a eyewitness that could be making up a story and someone sentenced to death in a harsh state, with no hard evidence and there sent to death, and later there prrooof he never did a crime
Do get the death, you need substancial hard evidence that cleary proves the perpertrator did it, to be able to be sent to death
also death row is like 5+ years, all those meals the taxpayers pay,
I also for one to not with the rest of the countrys tax money, want to be paying for his meals and healthcare whiles hes vegetating away in a cell, totally idiototic imo

Well regarding eye witness testimony you are correct. It is the most unreliable source of evidence, yet it is the most used source of evidence overall. That is a flaw in the system. Scientific Evidence shows someones memory is awfully flawed. Remember in your early school days playing the telephone game? Where you start off with a phrase or a word in the beginning of the line and by the last student it is an entirely different phrase/word from the beginning? That is one of many example of how fucked our memory may be in the short-term. Now imagine long term.
But I am personally satisfied with the evidence against this guy to put him in supermax, I am not fond of the death penalty as it is. To many innocent people have died because of it. Even if it was one innocent person who died, it is one too many

I just don't like the idea, I with the rest of the country, have to pay to help keep him alive, with free healthcare, free shitty food 3 times a day,
A person that wanted to blow people up for no reason, fuck that evil guy
Get him off the planet, for least amount of cost I say

Put him in regular prison. Let the other inmates take care of it.

Isn't the death penalty itself expensive? in the millions? It is worth it for him to eat shitty food for the rest of his life in misery then.
Did the research:
http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/costs-death-penalty
Quote:
The study estimates that the average cost to Maryland taxpayers for reaching a single death sentence is $3 million - $1.9 million more than the cost of a non-death penalty case. (This includes investigation, trial, appeals, and incarceration costs.

I dunno how much of a difference it would make but I'm sure those figures are for "regular" prison. I'm sure Supermax is a bit more expensive.

It might be, it might not be. I can't say unless you provide me a source to review
I could argue less inmate exposure to the public results in less direct supervision, results in less expenses/treatment if something were to happen to him
