when i inoculate my WBS bags i generally have close too 100% success rate every time i try but when i mix it with the bulk substrate they'll always get contaminated before fruiting. at first i thought maybe if was the bulk substrate i was using. i used straw and pasteurized it pretty well if i might say so myself. got contaminated. did that a few times and got the same results. then i tried coir and it got contaminated before fruiting everytime. ive used a vermiculite peat moss mixture once and got contaminated. Now im about to try horse poo but i am wondering if there is any tips or possible reasons why its contaminating, like i just believe the house is the problem. thanks yall!
P.s- i wipe the tub in rubbing alcohol.

There's a bunch of things it can be but my problem was field capacity (squeeze a Small handful and only drops should come out, no stream) and pasteurization. Explain your pasteurization process please. I find going between 140-160 internally in JARS for 1 hour is best. That was sufficient for me. 150-160 for 90 minutes caused lots of cobweb and trich. I have no clutter in the room and just vacuumed it. I have heard of bleaching the whole room as a counter measure, but my attitude is proper FC and properly pasteurized with clean spawn won't contminate.

I think you have dirty spawn.

i would boil water to about 185 and then pour it into a cooler with a pillow case of the spawn and through the air transfer the temperature was about 170. i had the spawn completely submerged for 2 hours and the temperature usually is around 160 at that point.

Pillow cases are very outdated. You can't squeeze to proper field capacity and it won't pasteurize evenly. Jars are the best way to do it. I used this as a guide to pasteurization:

If you think jars are inferior. It takes 2 full big pots of jars (18-20 qts) to make a 110 qt tub
Basically only using 2 burners on my stove I can make a tub every hour and a half.
