Really sucks, hes only 9 and still full of life. He started limping so we took him to vet and she says amputation of his leg is needed immediatly and even then there is no gurantee... Not sure what we are gonna do, but hes on pain meds and im pampering the hell out of him!
I think its the shitty pet food. Going to look into an organic diet for my dog and the fam cat

What kinda pain meds? How is your dog getting cancer a bad thing if you get pain meds that you can take?
I remember when my dog got cancer, they gave her tramadol and I was just like HA no way and ate all of it, no point in wasting good drugs on some dumbass animals

certain breeds are more prone to Osteosarcoma than others, like rotts for example. Sorry to hear that. It will get worse in a short amount of time.
Is it a front or rear leg? They get along better having rears amputated. Also weight is an issue with amputation.
Bone cancer is serious. At 9 years old I would consider putting him down. Sooner than later as it is extremely painful. Im am very sorry

Sorry, OP He's a good aged dog, though. If he has to go in a little while, then it sounds like he had a good run at it.
Do what you gotta do. Few things more painful than losing your dog
Good luck, man

Ruuuude. Mister sandman heroin enthusiast. That says it all right there. Fuck that guy. I'm sorry about you dogs leg. I would say his age has more to do with it than the diet at this point though. What kind of dog?

OP seriously this a prime oppurtunity to stock up on trams (assuming that's what they're giving your dog since that's what they usually give dogs for pain)
Forget your stupid dog and look to the future, the future of gettin high on tramadol

Yea, some food is downright awful for them. Not to name names, but a brand that rhymes with Halpo is basically equivalent to feeding them mcgoobies every day.

I'm truly sorry to say this, but it would be better to have your dog put down.
Bone cancer is extremely painful and the cancer treatments are very strenuous. Don't let your dog suffer...

tramadol is a worthless opiate. Like that kratom shit. Both are useless drugs. The high is all in your mind.

I don't like suggesting stuff like this but I agree. I had my dog put down last year for a similar reason; they use propofol and I think a barbituate, they go extremely peacefully. I had a very bad experience with my beloved german shepherd about 2 years ago where I didn't want to let it go, and it was extremely cruel of me to do; I'll never do that shit again
