Psilocybe Subaeruginosa ID Request - New Hunter

These were found in the same spot as other confirmed finds. The color seems a bit different to the first lot that came from this spot (A bit black on the cap). Difficult for an inexperienced hunter to confidently make a call. Can someone please confirm the identity?
Habitat: Decaying leaf litter.
Gills: Attached

Stem:

Cap: Color seemed a bit different to what was expected.

Spore print color: No spore print! :c What could cause this? Are they a bit had it? The look a tad old.
Bruising: The gills were squeezed which resulted in a blue / black bruise. The stems also brusied a blue / black colour. A lighter blue was noted in places. The bruises are all very much the same colour despite the how they appear on camera.

no expert here but blue bruising doesnt always confirm, they look alright but wait for a expert. p.s. it already dropped its spores

Cheers guys. Roughly speaking, how long does it more or less take p. subaeruginosa to get to the stage where it drops spore? Is this strictly a time thing or also based on how long since rain?

rain has nothing to do with it, except to get things wet. imo dew is more important in helping start the season.
it the humidity of the environment around the mushroom that helps sporulation.
spores start pretty much as soon as the veil rips and the cap opens. that is their primary role ... the dispersion of genetics and reproductive material.

well you dont just rely on bruising, but as far as im aware the toxic species that bruise blue look nothing like psilocybes? i could be wrong though, im just a student myself and would love to get the opinion of a TI?

no dont just rely on blue bruising. this is particularly the case with water logged specimens. but the blue bruising is a distictive aspect of this species. this is probably more so with species of the P. subaeruginosa, P. cyanescens and P.azurescens, because they are so much much more potent than other species. more Psilocybin for the distinctive oxidisation that everyone looks for.
my experience with P. semilanceata is that they dont rally bruise, they do at the base of the stem, and sometimes further up, but not by bruising so much. but they dry out so quick its hard to tell.
the other species that bruise blue are the blue staining boletes, and they are very different indeed. the toxic ones are Cortinarius sp. of which some are just blue, and mistaken called brusing because of their white epidermis, that gets crushed and looks a deeper shade of blue. Cortinarius sp. do not bruise.
btw. spores never drop from the gills, they are in fact forcefully ejected from the gills. this mechanism requires high humidity. the reason the above mushrooms may not have printed is because the environment was too dry for them to do so. they are certainly young enough to create nicce prints.

Just mentioning it because nobody else has yet. One possibility is that these are sterile (cannot produce spores), which would explain why the gills are light and why you couldn't get a print. I have found mature specimens that, like these ones, exhibited much lighter gills than other subs and did not produce prints, and have seen similar specimens referred to as sterile.
Nice subs you've got there, anyhow.

Interestingly, the only other time mushrooms were picked from that spot, no spore prints could be made either. This sterility affects the whole mycelium?

No, just some specimens, I think. I don't think it's a problem, just an anomaly.
Then again I could be wrong about these specimens being sterile in the first place.
