google's not turning up anything on that line, so I'm thinking you misheard the lyric. Which isn't anything to be ashamed about with mbv. Where did you hear the song?

Just in case anyone reading this thread didn't already know Kevin Shields of MBV was largely responsible for the Lost In Translation soundtrack.

If I mention more shoegazing bands I wonder whether people will start threads about them as well. At least you can make out most of the lyrics of Lush and Curve songs...

I haven't been able to get too much into shoegaze aside from mbv and slowdive. Although they're both amazing, so you know.

I should probably get some more eventually

A lot of people don't bother with anything besides Loveless, but Isn't Anything and the ep's are pretty fantastic.

I've never heard those other albums anyway, but Loveless is widely considered one of the biggest breakthroughs and defining albums of the dream-pop/shoegazer sound.
