Ok I know this is post number uno for me so let me introduce myself. Note:this is written in all honesty and I am not promoting my product nor am I here to slander and other suppliers. I am solely here to set the record straight and give people some insight.
The name is realnobodyism, I'm 22 years old but I feel like I'm 40. From Hawaii, was in Vegas for a bit and now back in Hawaii. I Been thru it all. Addiction, incarceration and all the typical ups and downs of being a renegade graffiti artist/die hard hip hop head/not giving a fuck persona/meth addicted retard (not to say anything about meth users just giving an idea of who I used to be). I am now a father of two beautiful daughters, trying to lead another life and soon hope to propose to my girlfriend. I have recently got into the acacia confusa supply business, as a way out of the weed/Molly/meth/acid/mush/dmt etc. you name the game, in Las Vegas, a game of which my real name (which I won't state was a pretty popular one.) I've been a vendor since March 2015 on eBay and Amazon and been harvesting since january. I won't give my username to those unless you personally message me. I first got the idea in the summer of 2012 to become a vendor and utilize the acacia trees on my family's property and surrounding areas. Thought it was a stupid idea, now I wish I would've been in it since. And also if I come off as a dick, I apologize. I am really a humble, respectful and down to earth real local guy. I'm just not one of those real dudes whose every other sentence starts with "I'm so real..." Or "you're so fake...." I just simply keep it real and don't got time to fake the funk and work around other people's realities. I'm in the drug supply trade for fucks sake. The real recognize real and only the real shine. I'm speaking on what I know...and lucky for you that I'm one to address these topics instead of feed into or turn the other way on them. I'm writing this for you guys not me.
In the short time I've been in the business. I have noticed many different tactics vendors are using and also ethno vendors with websites, which may be the victims in some cases. I have created this thread just to sort of put it out there and set the record straight on acacia. I will do my best to go over scam tactics and common myths and also including pictures as called for. A lot of people who buy acacia may think they know quality, which is possible but this will be coming from the first hand to touch the product. The guy who sweats, aches, bleeds, pushes his limits and works 24/7, gets out of bed in the wee hours to fill and pack orders and really needs to look into hiring help to supply the never ending demand for bark. I know quality, I know what isn't. I could scam people....but how would that set me apart for the people in my way, business wise. I swore to lead a righteous life these days and that would in no way express my values.
Section one- acacia confusa General problems.
the problem, the real problem with acacia confusa giving low yields, could very well not be "trunk bark". Trunk bark is seen as a scam tactic. I can tell you first hand that yes trunk bark could be a scam tactic if it's not good trunk bark. I do all my personal extracts with trunk. Why? Because even at cheaper prices people hate that shit with a passion, and it sits around too long, I hate letting my products sit and just lose freshness and it's not up to my standard to sell if 2 weeks has gone by. And I can tell you that trunk can blow root bark out of the water with yield and quality, also can match, or vice versa all depending on the integrity of the person you purchase from.
But what I'm trying to get to here is good trunk bark and good root bark are one in the same. I've gone and dug up tree roots and after the first cut stopped, after all that hard work and wasted time, because the tree simply lacked the alkaloids. As far as I can tell from experience pinkish inner root bark is alright and will darken as it dries, but not up to my par of my quality. But just for record I have encountered trees with good root and shitty trunk bark and vice versa, both shitty, and both great almost all the way up to the younger canopy branches.
I tend to only harvest bark that is bloody red, burgundy and sometimes almost a reddish shade of purple and dripping and oozing like it's really bleeding. Age of the tree does not matter. It's in the trees genetics. Phenotypes, just like weed. I've also noticed that super cropping methods of growing herb can also be applied and usually are naturally done by Mother Nature, thus upping the yield of the final extract because it triggers the tree to have some kind of reaction where it's trunk bark becomes very very blood red especially at the knots. And age of the tree is not really relevant to its content. This is in no way a fact, just an observation. But again I've seen complete opposite, but this theory I explained is something I come across more commonly instead of straighter, young newly propagated trees and old alike with exceptional alkaloid content.
With that being said I'll move on to misconception two. Identifying confusa. Here in Hawaii we have a few species that are almost identical and you could mistake them for confusa if you do not take into account the slightest details, only learned from trial and error. Growth patterns, area it's growing in, soil condition and habitat, hard wood colors/patterns/density all come into play when identifying confusa from koa and koaia. These are things only experience can teach you. So this could be a reason you may not have been satisfied with your prior acacia bark.
This brings us into scam tactics in this category. Yes you may have gotten a different species of acacia. But you could have also gotten a species of a whole different family. There are a lot of different trees around anywhere that's bark can resemble that of good acacia and could not even have a significant amount of tryptamines, or none at all. If you bought powdered bark you could've gotten a whole limb of acacia confusa hardwood included and it could still give you some yield, or just downright shitty bark or fake bark. Also cutting agents apply. Shit you could even get saw dust colored with rit dye for all you know. It's just as easy to cut bark powder as it is cocaine. Also you could theoretically take good fresh bark and soak it in liquid of choice and take dry junk bark and color it using your newly made dye. In theory, decreasing the alkaloids content in your once good bark and adding a little to the other and also wasting some in process....very squirly. Also bark from dead trees....fuck that. Common sense can tell you that the barks content will decrease the longer it's dead, and it's dead most likely for a reason. A common reason is the borer beetle. Look it up because I don't want to get into too much of a subject that shouldn't even have to be brought up. You want to be Eco friendly and say some shit about me harvesting from live trees, then not to be a dick but in all real ness, you can start doing your part as Captain Planet by not using your computer, cell phone or your car and start getting paper trash bags instead of plastic and see how that treats you when you take out the trash and also stop using non organic chemicals for extracts and dispose of them the only Eco friendly way possible, drinking them.... I'm all for the environment but acacia confusa is in no way endangered. It is considered one of the worst invasive species in Hawaii and on most islands there are eradication efforts in place and could also be the reason of lots of vendors, shitty product. And this brings us to the next section....
Hazards of using acacia confusa. Ok so your bark is from Hawaii, must be good right? Wrong. As I said eradication efforts are in place. What does that mean. Certain islands namely big island, Maui,Kauai, and Molokai are funding companies to eradicate these trees regardless of if its on private property unless it's inside of your house, which I doubt anyone is doing indoor ops. The reason for this is to preserve the natural ecosystem from danger of alien takeover. Too late but still these efforts are happening. Luckily I'm on Oahu where I have yet to find info about local efforts as I would like to be funded by the government to dispose of these trees, Without the use of potentially dangerous and not really researched chemicals. The islands listed have funded company's too shoot and kill, with chemical artillery. Some of these companies are now vendors, and with that some ordinary people in the know could be vendors now because of these companies trail of downed trees. The only true fact in this is the part about it actually happening. Common sense can tell me that judging by how many of these there are (whole forests of acacia confusa as far as you can see) that chemical plant weapons are first choice to cut down on the labor and material costs compared to just cutting down the trees. Lol no pun intended. So in reality you can be getting quality bark from any one of those islands, it's just treated with chemical x. And the worst part is the guy who sold it may not even know. Before anyone calls bullshit I'll post the documents when time allows. The sun is coming up and I need to go harvest bark for orders. Aloha fellow dimensional hopping forum lurkers!!! I'll continue when I can I have a lot of work today and not enough time on my hands.
Over n out, realnobodyism
