pretty inspirational story man :-) it gives hope to those who live in oppression, who fear they will never see the day when trees become elves, and the sky drips love all over :-)

As mentioned before, some people are just prone to have visualizations, others aren't. I for example have visuals every single time I trip on any hallucinogenic, and on Ecstasy(MDMA not just MDA). I have to say that I am truly privleged on that end of the spectrum, and my friends writhe in frustration over it.
I have eaten an eigth on several occasions, and had mind blowing visuals each time. Now I don't see little green men, but waves and colors on the walls and in everything that I look at are very intense. Imagination is very important, and visualization practice while sober may help also. I wish you the best of luck.

i have the same no visuals problem. i personally believe it has something to do with willingness to hallucinate + intention too. no visuals on ayahuasca yet either (4 times). 5-meo-amt snorted will give you hard core visuals reguardless :P perhaps some method of ingestion that gets it into faster than you can cope with the effects would help override the "don't hallucinate" circut in your brain?

Best advise, try smoking pot and using N2O and be in a relaxed, trippy, dark area

but there are much more visual enthogens out there
Like what? DMT comes to mind but that's about it, maybe tropanes but that's a diffent story... mescaline? doubt it.
I have experienced real nice visuals with mescaline. Mostly red hued, swirling of colors, and 3D effects from TV or pictures on the wall. The moving effects are very fluid. Kind of like oil and water mixtures after stirring.

kristina420, i have almost the exact same problem you do. It seems no matter how much i try or what i do, i cant get visuals. I find it disappointing and annoying, especially when my girlfriends talking about all the amazing and cool colourful things she sees... last time i took an 8th dried of caps... next time im going to try an 8th and a half or 2... maybe that will do something.
I wonder though.. could it be like weed? some people dont get high their first times. My friend didnt get high until his 8th or 9th (i dont know why he kept trying, but he did and eventually got high. has no problems now.)
also... ive heard rumours aplenty that orange juice helps... is this true??? if so it hasnt done shit for me yet...

Hey, dancing is always awesome on shrooms! I get the body high too. It feels like what I call "drunken bliss" anyway, my visuals are not too crazy either usually, like I've had intense shroom visuals but it's likely just a body chemistry thing, perhaps tolerence. I dont know. But for me, "visuals" is about the sharpness. I always notice an awareness shift on shrooms, acid as well. Colors in general just look more vibrant and contrasted. So even if I don't see swirly stuff or lots of geometric or bubbly overlays , im still getting a visual heightening that makes everything look like super hidef. That makes the world look like an amusement park, that awe state...everything is magical! Do you at least get that? I'd say do not have expectations for anything, and perhaps you will start to notice things more. I find that when I want a visual trip, I don't have one. The harder I look, the less I see. It's when I let go,relax my eyes, and just chill out- that's when I catch stuff looking really cool. It justs pops out at you. Try that- be observant, but don't actively look with an expectation. Good luck!
