Thought these were worth putting up as they are unusual. The larger one looks like it's actually two.

Location: NZ South Island.
Habitat: Mossy grass and soil. In a council park and near a garden with pine bark mulch. Gills: White. Stem: Multiple, 3 for each cap. Length 2.0cm. Diameter 1mm. Colour white. Texture smooth. Stem thin and bent. Cap: Diameter >1cm, colour light rusty brown, yellow and creamy white stripes. Texture smooth. Delicate but not fragile. Spore print: Under way. Bruising: Stem bruised light brown. Scent: None

Hmm, they look like they have Laccaria or Hygrocybe type of gills! Interested in seeing what it truly is. Cool find, Mrs.Bagels

Here's more on my cool little mushrooms. The spore print was white. I went back but didn't find any more Although I did find some similar mushroom that had 3 stems but no stripes.

Would you call that cap shape conical?

i dont think those are the same mushrooms, but yes in both cases you seem to have multiple stims and conical caps. probably related.
top one seems to be multiple stims beige to yellow gils beige and brown cap white spore print
bottom one seems to be multiple stims white gils beige cap and unknown spore print
sometimes mushrooms have pigment wash away in rain/dew/etc(amanita muscaria for example)
i wonder if the striping is due to the washing out of one area because of the flutes on the cap.

Thanks rxb that's interesting.
There were quite a lot of those stripped mushrooms covering a couple of feet. Do you think this type of mushroom would have another flush generally?
