Tryin to delete /Movies : Access Denied

Yo yesterday I deleted all my movies in that directory but one just cant be deleted - so all Movies directory cant be deleted. I rebooted and tried again but it wouldnt work. I also tried deleting it from the recovery console when booting with winXP CD but this didnt help. I even tried with linux but my win partition is read-only  :laugh:
so please tell me how can I delete it

What OS are you using? what does it say 'in use by another process', 'access is denied' etc..

try right clicking on the movie and going to properties->security->add 'everyone' and then checking 'allow full control'.

thats strange. I ue Windows Commander to browse, run and manipulate files. I was trying to delete it with it but it wouldnt let me do so. When I clicked on properties nothin happened as well. Then I tried doing this with My Computer. Not only I could run it and view the properties, also I deleted it :smile:

get ws_ftp and delete it through there, trust me it works

It actually seems to me that the movies I've opened in the past few weeks and big files (.rar, .exe) fail to defragment. None of them will delete either.
