how big is it? I got one that can take like 3 half gallon jars...still need a seal for it tho...
neone know what brand this is, and if they still manufacture the seals for them? i wanna get mine running.

riiiighht. I'ma do that, and i'll send the bill for the damages to you when it destroys my kitchen.
Rigging up a seal might not be out of the question tho...just gotta find one the right size from a current cooker, or something of the like...too bad the net doesn't do picture-based searchs.

mine doesnt need a seal, i looked it up in the directions
you just crank it down on the other metal peice
and lube it a bit with some certain oil, i used vaseline
worked fine  :grin:

it has a thing called a petcock, hehe, it is a little screw that opens a vent hole instead of using a weight...hmm...i dunno

no seal, checked it all out...and it never did look like it needed one..so i swabbed a buncha vaseline around it and paid close attention...
the actual cook is yet to happen, but a trial 90 minute run went well.
