Pins dieing off ?

Quick question, not sure whats happening. King oysters: Temp 65F Humidity 95% Light is 100w equivalent cfl at about 10-12 inches from growing tops. No misting
So the mushrooms are doing great, thousands of small pins all about the same size. A number of large clusters of fruit about 2-3 inches tall. I looked at them yesterday morning and afternoon. In the morning they were good in the afternoon the pins looked dessicated. Normally I dont mist them but I did thinking it might help. 2 hours later the pins were toast. Shrivveled and brown especailly where I mosted them but the mature fruit are looking fine. What could this be ? My thoughts are, substrate too dry or too many pins. The substrate doesnt seem dry though imo. Should I be thinning the pins a bit ? Please help. I can get pictures if it helps. Thanks!

Heres a bunch of pictures of what im looking at. This is my first semi successful attempt from start to finish. Some of my thoughts:
-The mushrooms seem to be mature imo but they are a fair bit smaller than the original parent mushroom. Im not sure why they are smaller or even if I am correct about their maturity.
-Some look odd... Small deformed ones and some look "warty" ? Only 2 or three look like this. The warty looking ones also have damp patches around the deformities. Ive included pics of these.
-Substrate seems moist but again im just guessing as Ive never seen anything likemthis before to compare. It does seem as if the mycelium at the substrate surface has also died back with the pins (looks like it was scortched)
-They are growing slowly but I think thats related to temperature. Its usually between 60F-70F but we had a cold snap and it dropped to around 50F for a day or so.
Im not sure what to do with them now... Mist/no mist ? remove all pins and harvest mature fruit and see if it pins again ? Just leave it for now and let the fruits mature more ?
Again sorry about the wrong forum. Im still half asleep I would move it myself if I knew how.
