Alright, here is my collection minus some badly rooted cuttings I planted recently. I didn't have soil so they sat way to long in some water I didn't change often enough
Here is my smallest one:

I thought it was fucked, it was next to the door in my greenhouse that was left open or just got to cold when the heater was left off. Anyways the entire top blackened and I thought it was a goner. My mom told me to just kill it becouse she hates looking at dead/ unhealthy plants. Anyways I left it outside and after weeks I saw some fresh leaves forming at the base! They didn't make it but you can see it is trying to shoot another stalk out! Very impressive, salvia can take a lot of abuse
Here is my only establishes cutting right now:

And here is one of 3 "mother" plants, though really one of them is the mother and the other two are just the biggest clones I have:

Here is the next one:

I used some sandy ass soil for the re pot on accident which seems to have stunted its growth a bit compared to the other two, still making it though.
Here is the last one, and the tallest. This thing is at least 4-5 feet tall from the pot:

There is my quick contribution!

Thanks!
They definitely will be, they have been all winter since I kept em in a heated greenhouse.
But the cold/ heat has stunted them a bit.
I moved them all outside for the summer though the other day, will have to move them back in before winter comes around though!
Should be plenty of time for them to grow and get some nice think foliage I have been saving up for another extraction attempt and already have a decent amount.

Is that what I think it is?!!?!?!

@MusicLover Wow, good job man. You have way more plant mass than I do. I've never had one live long enough to get the stems as woody as the ones you have there! How old are those woody bases?
And what do you think causes the crinkly leaves in your second picture? The plant seems healthy and the leaves look very mature, I wonder what causes them to be all wavy like that.
Do any of you guys have plants that have that 'fringe' on the corners of the square stem?

Thank you!
The mother plant was my mothers and is probably at least 5-10 years old, but she used to always cut id back hardcore before moving it inside after the warm season.
When we moved to a new house with a greenhouse I set a heater up and moved the mother salvia and the 2 big clones I made into the greenhouse for the winter with no cutting.
That was like last year so this is their first year they went through the winter uncut. The other two are probably 2-3 years old at least but maybe more.
I can't quite remember honestly
As for the leaf curling, I have wondered if it could be from over cloning. Or maybe from the soil or nutrients I have fed it?
Or maybe even light or heat from being in a heated greenhouse
I think I know what you mean about the "fringing" on the edges and I definitely have some that are doing that in the hardier/ more gnarled parts.

Woah, woah. The plant was your mom's?!?
Share that story with us! Obviously she know what the plant is, right? It's not like you stumble across these accidentally, especially 10 years ago. Not trying to get too personal or anything, I just think that's awesome and amazing you have a salvia passed down to you from you parent.

Well there is not a whole lot to share but I have no problem sharing it
She is an avid gardener and has grown several "magic" plants over the years. Mainly salvia, which she just kept the one plant of, and some san pedros.
She was given both of them by friends, 2 different pedro types, they both look potentially pc to me though, or some weird cross or something
Thanks! I think it is pretty awesome too, she has taught me a lot about gardening over the years.

That's awesome! I wish I had a relative or even knew someone else locally that was into what I like growing to compare notes and plants in person. Consider yourself lucky ML!

Thanks!
I still wish I had someone to swap notes with but trust me I am pretty damn appreciative.
But I thank the universe and nature pretty regularly for a lot of things
Mainly stuff to do with plants, music or friends and family

That is awesome, you're blessed and in a good space you're mom must be proud of you.
I am the same as you guys with no one really to talk about my grows, those I talk to get that I grow stuff, but don't really understand..."I can't grow cactus, they die" is the most common thing I hear. And they don't get the entheogen thing at all.

I talk to my best friend about my plants all the time. He kind of zones out and does his best goldfish impersonation...
On the otherhand, I gave my mom a calea zacatechichi cutting and she has one of my salvia cuttings that I left with her. And they are doing great from what she tells me. She knows exactly what those plants can do and I think she intends to try the calea.

So is salvia a kind of mint? I thought square stems were an indicator of being in the mint family.

Hey Matt87, thanks Yes it is a member of the mint family with a very bitter taste.
