I'd say it's not getting enough light penetration.

I have mine under grow lights and they love it. People I know who use the sun say the late afternoon sun is the best for them if it's too intense it can be too hot.

Hey no problem.
You could even trim that center stem down to where those little leaves are growing and after a few weeks they'll grow into two dominant tops and help it it filled in a little bit, and you'll have some salvia leaf for later also.

your plant looks very good. About that you could do what Impared said. Also, with the risk of being redundant, I must say again, when and if you cut leaves (especially on a young plant) don;t cut all the leaf. leave some behind. cut only about 80-90% of the leaf. The nodes that have leaves attached to IME are more likely to grow strong shoots and also to grow bigger and stronger as opposed to when you cut the leaf all the way back....

I have removed odd leaves but off the two sides, ive not taken many yet though im just letting her grow, but i think they was gonna fall off that was why, but i dried and kept them ^_^ the middle ones just fell off, was in a box for five days as a cutting and the centre never seemed to strengthen much, other wise it looks great lol
Ive been trying since i got her in spring to really take good care of her as wasnt sure would live hahaha.
Ive moved closer to the grow light now though not directly under.
Come spring, i might consider cutting the middle and see if helps give her a boost cos she looks really thin and not great in the centre doesnt she

yeah, she's a little skinny... you could also try to put a fan on it that in time will lead to a stronger stem... and I wouldn't really support the plant with sticks unless you really think is going to break, in which case you can make a clone if it happens. Not supporting it will encourage the stem to grow stronger. Also when you repot it you can try plant it a little deeper in the ground that way will grow more roots and will be more stable. You could also cut the middle stem completely and get some clones started... like I said it look very good...

Personally I'd trim it back right at this line above the node.
You could clone the top or just dry it up and save it for smoking or other uses.

Would you just cut and try to root the top now, or better in spring time for more success?

Depends on temperatures really. If the environment doesn't drop below 70 degrees ferenhiet it should be okay I think.

I just received a plant by mail yesterday and it looked like it was in great shape. Today I've noticed the leaves seem to be curling up and kinda folding. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong.

Well... My home town has been flooded by hurricane Matthew...I've been gone for 5 days and I'm sure all my salvia plants are dead or dying at this moment.
I've missed almost a week of work and I'm running out of money.
I don't know when I'll be able to go back home and we probably won't have electricity for a very long time...
I'll still creep around these parts but I doubt you guys will see any updates from me anytime soon....
