I've never gotten the chance to grow the Luna strain, only blosser. Each strain has its own characteristics, as purplegills explained. Having those traits listed, would make it a very hardy plant. When taking cuttings, a hardy plant wouldn't have much droop, and wouldnt need a lot of humidity to recover, and then form its roots. I use Rhizotonic as a foliar feed, so I don't run into any "recovery" issues, when taking cuts.

^ Nice group of clones
I always start my clones in a north facing window. I get less "droop" and don't have to water near as much. I think tomato clones are the only plants I start in a southern window.

Nice plants. I see caterpillars enjoy your plants too. They hold on to those leaves with dear life, when I pull them off. There's so many leaves, so I guess I started feeling a bit selfish, now I just remove the entire leaf, and relocate the caterpillar and the leaf to a safe place, and let it enjoy itself.

That's a very beautiful and healthy plant. What medium is she growing in, soil with perlite?

Thanks! It's rich soil for roses, perlite, and SwellGel (water storing granules).

do you guys think 48 degrees at night might be too cold? I have a grow tent that I just moved my little struggling sally to that stays between 68-75 degrees all day, I'm not sure if it was the right move lol. It did survive colder weather during December and January on my balcony so I don't know if it would be better to just leave it there. Does anyone know if Salvia likes wind, I know other salvia species hate wind.

Too much wind is bad.
48 degrees is fine.

Questions. I have a salvia cutting where the leafs turn black and fall of due humidity. So now I started misting everyday and that works the new leafes are nice and green.
But now I'm going to leave for 1.5 weeks. Is it a good idea to put the plant in a bag on a dish?
And should I put some water in the bag?
Your advice is appreciated :-)
Kind regards

I am very new to this so take it with a pinch of salt. I have been away for 6 days and put a the entire plant pot in a tub of water. That is often how people water herbs. Otherwise the bottom of the stem may rot.
I will also say I have not returned yet... so they may well be dead lol

Thanks looks cool. But I'm talking about humidity not watering.

Without personal experience on the matter:
1. I don't think that, unless you're misting several times a day, you are raising humidity just by some occasional spraying. It's a very small amount of water you spray each time and it evaporates into a large volume of air (the entire room) very quickly.
2. If you still think that the two drops of extra water have cured your baby plant (my theory is rather that the plant may have needed some initial help to establish herself properly but now she'd go on her own even if you stopped spraying):
I'd fill up a large tray (both in terms of surface area and depth -- think a large plastic storage box or similar) with perlite, expanded clay pebbles, stones/rocks etc, top it up with water all the way, and put the pot on top of this wet clay bed. This would evaporate slowly, raising the humidity just a bit but over an extended period of time.
______ Putting her in a tub of water would almost certainly hurt her. The general consensus, for what I've gathered is that Salvia hates standing in water.

Well I put my pots in a tub of water. The window is west facing. I came back 6 days later and they look healthier. I also don't understand the obsession with misting and humidity. Apparently they adapt as long as it's warm enough and they're well watered. Mine seem to be doing fine and the water is still very moist so won't be watering again for a few days. I would say they are still young plants so perhaps larger ones need more care. But mine as far are taking minimum effort
