Small tray in mono tub

As the thread title suggests, any input on using a monotub as a fruiting chamber for a single tray? Will perlite help keep an even RH? Or should I just plop my tray right in there?

Why? It might work, but if I'm not mistaken, part of how the mono works is the benefit of condensed moisture forming on the walls, from the air, then dripping back into the substrate and hydrating. The perlite may help with RH but the pan might dry out more than a traditional setup.
If anything, it may just require some misting a couple times a day.

Ive never seen perlite in a mono with trays. Just through em in there, if they seem dry from time to time just give them a light mist.

Because I made myself a nice little tray but somehow I forgot I need to put it in a fruiting chamber. SGFC is filled up and I have an empty mini mono laying around.

Good question. I only used it once for trays and they fruited pretty well. Those were close to isolates as well..I should have ran some tests!
