telling cultivated oysters apart?
    #2164359 - 12/06/03 04:00 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

how would i go about it? ive heard that oysters are very hard to tell apart anyway, but I grew an unknown pleurotus species ( anticipated djamor, but it is most def not )

heres a couple of pics I posted elsewhere: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...;o=&fpart=1

what other information would be needed? The primordia formation seems unlike any oyster I've encountered before, but it MAY have been bad co2 and lighting, but the more mature primoridia around those look perfectly normal...

Pulmonarius and ostreatus are almost identical, though the others are pretty easy to tell apart.
