cob web or myc?
    #2164085 - 12/06/03 01:36 PM (14 years, 3 months ago)

ok i got my first sign of life, but the question is- is it given to me from the gods (myc) or the demons (cobweb?) hmmm.... its on the very bottom of the jar and it seems to be fine white fuz but the fuz does not extend out of the corn very much maybe becuase it hasnt thickened up yet since today is the first day of growth? ...

Live in your own reality. Sorround yourself with positivity while being aware of the darkness. The heaven so many people are in search of is much closer than they believe. Its a state of mind. Its not about reaching a destination becuase there is no destination, its an infinite, exponential journey.

YOu're gonna have to wait...sorry.
You'll be able to tell in a few days.

The first day my gardener saw mycelium growth in his BRF jars
it looked like contam. In a day or two it developed more in the
typical description of mycelium, ropy stringy looking. Like you
were thinking you'll just have to wait and see.

My gardener had contam in one his jar and the white fuzz
mold grew very quick. He mentions that the best way he could tell
the two apart is that mycelium grows at a steady pase while
white mold spreads rapidly enveloping a jar in a day or so.

Yeah, when my mycelium began to grow, it looked grey like cobweb at first, but the color deepened to white as the colonization thickened and spred.

The way i knew was by waiting a couple of days. The growth of the mycs is slower than cobweb would be.
