I was going to say Tricholomopsis rutilans but i'm pretty sure they're a Gymnopilus species. Is that blue bruising at the bottom?
They look interesting if they're Gymnopilus.

You could be right. If that's blue then they're an active Gym. Doesn't look like any species i've seen before. Was this NOR or SOR?
It could be they just grew funny from the weather drying up lately. They look interesting though

Do you think it would be risky to try some?

Should be fine. You need a lot with Gymnopilus. Around 100-150 grams fresh. Most people prefer to make them into tea.
No Gymnopilus species are toxic.

And is tea stronger than eating them fresh?

Probably all of them. They would probably be stronger if you can stomach eating them. Most people make into tea because they aren't very pleasant to taste.

You should wait for a Trusted Identifier. But i'm sure they're Gymnopilus species.

Active Gymnopilus, this genus is hard to get to species without scoping.
