    #21627846 - 05/02/15 09:35 PM (9 years, 18 days ago)

Hi all, i need help with identifying these beauties found in equatorial singapore. I've got clones off of these guys and would like to work further with them if they are medicinal!

First off, found this (Ganoderma?) growing on a rotting stump:

Next is this which was also found on a rotting branch:

And then there's this...is this Trametes versicolor? Growing on dead Albizia saman branch:

And last but not least, this sweet smelling beauty, on rotting stump:

Your help in id-ing these will be much appreciated!

i'd say you're probably right with the first and third, not sure on the other two.

when you say it smells sweet, how so?

Thank you for your reply!

sweet smelling as in, it smells really fragrant. not sure how to describe it further really.

Do you know what Ganoderma that might be?

i just spent an hour doing some googling around (which i suggest you do too) and didn't find too much (in english) on european ganoderma; based on that v. moderately educated guess, i'd maybe say applanatum, more by ruling out other things than being sure about it from the pics.

what do you think?

as far as the yellow/orange one, i'm not coming up with anything better than maybe a beefy Stereum complicatum
